More about Steve
Steve is a pastor with a calling to equip the saints for ministry by empowering volunteer teams to build a marriage ministry from the ground up, or take an existing marriage ministry team to the next level.
He is an ordained pastor with 30+ years of ministry experience including roles as lead pastor at two churches and associate pastor at three churches. He’s been a church-planter that started with nothing, and he most recently pastored a church with well over 1,000 regular attenders. In other words, he has a wide range of pastoral and leadership experience.
He is a graduate of Southeaster University with a B.A. in Pastoral Ministries and M.A. in Ministerial Leadership.
Steve is driven to see local churches shepherd married couples well by making marriage ministry central to their ministry strategy.
Technically speaking, he is a marriage ministry consultant. But more than that, he is a pastor who will go on the journey with you to see the project to its completion, and beyond.
“I help churches establish their own vision for, and model of, marriage ministry. Rather than do the ministry myself, I’ll equip the volunteer team to do the work of marriage ministry. And I’ll work closely with the leadership of the church during the entire process to ensure it aligns with the vision, mission, and strategy of the church at large.”
